In December 2020, i-capital successfully completed the sale of 100% of the shares in KMH – Kopmann Mayer Handelsgesellschaft mbH (KMH) to eFulfillment GmbH.
i-capital, together with Brinkmann.Weinkauf, advised the shareholders of KMH throughout the entire sales process and successfully completed several rounds of negotiations.
KMH – Kopmann Mayer Handelsgesellschaft mbH, headquartered in Meinersen, is an online furniture retailer specializing in teak garden furniture under three proprietary brands.
eFulfillment GmbH, headquartered in Hanover, is a pan-European multi-channel retailer with a complementary product portfolio. In addition to expanding market presence, the merger allows both companies to balance out the seasonality of their business.
“After more than 18 years, selling our company was a big step for us. However, we are pleased to have found a buyer in Eugen Stein and eFulfillment who understands the business, as he comes from the same industry, and who will successfully develop the company further.
